Auckland InDesign User Group
The Auckland InDesign User Group is (not surprisingly) a group of InDesign user's from Auckland. The group meets regularly to discuss InDesign, updates and the latest tips and tricks. Held at MDS, the next User Group - and the last for 2009 - is being held on Thursday November 24.
The speakers for the November meeting (and what they'll be talking about) are:

Australasian User Interface Conference
The Australasian User Interface Conference (AUIC) is the forum for user interface researchers and practitioners at the Australasian Computer Science Week (ACSW 2010). AUIC provides an opportunity for workers in the areas of HCI, CSCW, and pervasive computing to meet with colleagues and with others in the broader computer science community. In Brisbane, Australia, from January 18th to 22nd 2010.
